We document almost everything. yet so much of what truly shapes a life is never recorded. The taste of a childhood meal. The sounds that fill a family home. The rituals, gestures, and conversations that quietly disappear.
The Future of Remembering is an invitation to pause and ask: What is worth remembering?
Allow yourself to be carried into one of Jean-Guillaume Kodjo's memories through poetry, sound, food. conversation and manifestation.
Together, we will share a meal inspired by his childhood in Togo, listen to a live performance, and explore how personal memories become part of our collective history.

“The Memory Loom” is a participatory installation that aims to transform memory from passive recollection to active responsibility. Conceived as a living archive, it highlights the human need to document our lives and environments.
As visitors add memories —photographs, notes or drawings— onto an ever-changing canvas, a collective manifesto against cultural oblivion is woven, memory by memory.
